ABOUT ME
My name is Martina Jaime and I am a Swiss licensed psychologist recognized by the Dutch VLOGO and member of the Dutch Association of Psychologists (NIP). In addition to the psychology license, I hold a BSc and a MSc degree in psychology from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Currently, I am pursuing a Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy school in Belgium.
I grew up in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. My mother tongues are Italian and Spanish, and I have consistently used French and English in my studies and work. Throughout my life and professional career, I have been immersed in different cultures, environments and languages. This experience enables me to offer consultations in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
APPROACH
In my practice, I use an integrated and customized approach based on Psychodynamic Therapy as well as Mindfulness and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (a psychosomatic method). In the consultations space, I will accompany and support you throughout your personal journey, in a safe place where you will be heard and supported in all your needs; where you can voice your confusions, your conflicts, as well as your beliefs, strengths and achievements. Together we will find and identify your resources, your values, your doubts and your needs to find a way to improve your life quality and enhance your well-being.
